Chelsea Hansler
FOUNDER
I am a mother, wife and artist living in a little red cabin, off the grid in Ontario, Canada.. My day to day revolves around painting, motherhood and all that living off the grid entails. We hunt, fish, trap, forage, garden and much more as a family. I am passionate about keeping traditional skills alive and bringing women outdoors, fostering new friendships and teaching them new skills. My mission is to give women the experience I wish that I had 10 years ago, all while creating an easy going, fun environment to learn.

Melissa Lindsay
PHOTOGRAPHER
I grew up in rural Nova Scotia and I am so thankful for my childhood. Our parents “kicked” my sister and I outside in the morning and told us not to come back until it was dark, but we didn’t mind. We spent our days building brush huts and tree houses, playing at the brook and river, building campfires, and exploring as much as we could. I’ve always had a deep connection with nature. It’s my source of peace and tranquility in this busy and sometimes overwhelming world.
I moved to Manitoba in my early 20s and it’s still where I hang my hat. It’s where I immersed myself into the hunting and fishing lifestyle which are now big passions of mine. Before that I always felt a little bit out of place and lost, but I’m happy to say I have finally found my myself and my community.
My passion for photography started at a young age but more recently I've decided to get out of my comfort zone and really immerse myself. I'm still learning and discovering my own creative style and I'm having fun with it. I think what I love the most is taking lifestyle shots of people in their element, enjoying what they love and working with companies and brands in the outdoor industry.
When I'm not hunting and fishing, you'll find me with a camera in my hands these days. I started out wanting to preserve my own memories, but it has become something so much more. I'm excited to meet and engage with new people through photography and capture life's candid and authentic moments while telling a story.
